Kids Veda’s Parenting Conclave-2025 in Guwahati

Kid Veda group of Pre-Schools conducted the Kid Veda Annual Parenting Conclave 2025” on the 2nd November, 2025 at GUIST Hall 3 Auditorium, Guwahati.
The Kid Veda Annual Parenting Conclave 2025 is a unique event to be organized in the North East India for the first time targeted at proving expert parenting guidance to parents of children between the age group 3-6 years. The Conclave brought together experts in early childhood education, child psychology, nutrition, digital literacy and finance to provide parents with actionable insights and supportive guidance. It was aimed to serve as a space for parents to share experiences, build a community of support, and engage in meaningful dialogue about raising children in today’s rapidly changing world.

The conclave was structured around two sessions,
Session 1: Building Resilient Roots- This session involved discussions around three core topics – The Digital Dilemma, Emotional & Mental Well-being and Health and Nutrition for holistic growth each addressing a significant aspect of modern parenting.
The first session moderated by Ms Sagorika Sarmah, leading educationist and Director of SSEC had Dr. Mrigakshi Hazarika, Retd HOD of Handique Girls College, Dept of Education, developmental therapist Geetali Saikia, chief dietician od Peerless hospital, Mitali D Rajkhowa, assistant professor of Psychology, ADTU and Lucie Boro as speakers.
Session 2: Future Proofing Dreams- This session included discussions around financial planning required to build a solid foundation for a child’s future. The session included discussions on two main topics- Breaking Myths and Exploring options. This session had financial experts Saurav Das and Regional manager of Max Life Sri Sougata R Choudhury as speakers and the session was moderated by leading management consultant, Sr Sanjib Kakati.
The event saw active participation from parents and educators with most parents having children between the ages of three to six years. Welcoming the parents, Chief Academic metor of Kid Veda, Ms Dipanjana Datta informed the audience that parenting has never been a simple task, but in the 21st century it has become more complex than ever before. Parents today grapple with balancing traditional values with modern needs, managing screen time, ensuring positive mental health, fostering resilience, and preparing their children for an uncertain but opportunity-filled future. Through parenting workshops, counselling support, and interactive sessions, Kid Veda has been consistently engaging families in shared child development practices. The Kid Veda Annual Parenting Conclave 2025 is yet another step in this direction.
Kid Veda is a growing community of parents, teachers and students with over 60 centers situated in different locations of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur. Besides ensuring quality early childhood education, Kid Veda also provides entrepreneurial and employment opportunities to women. It has helped over 100 individuals start sustainable businesses and 90% of employees in Kid Veda centers are women.
